How the Process Works
From your first online design to a delivered building kit — eight clear steps with no surprises.
Design Your Shed Online
Use the Iron Country online shed designer to create your building. Enter your project location, choose a building type and customise dimensions, roof style, bay spacing, doors, windows, colours and accessories. The designer produces a 3D visualisation and a design summary.
The online design is an initial concept — not final engineering or a binding price.
Submit Your Design and Site Details
Submit your completed design along with your contact details and site address. Include any relevant information about the site — slope, access, intended use, council zone or existing structures.
We Review the Design and Site Requirements
Our team reviews your design and site requirements. We may contact you for additional information — soil conditions, wind region, access constraints or other site-specific details that affect engineering and pricing. If you would like changes, one of our specialists can modify your design for you — the updated design then appears in your MyJob account.
Site-Specific Engineering and Pricing
We prepare a site-specific quotation that includes engineering to your local wind, soil and council requirements. The quotation covers the building kit components and any included services. Delivery costs are calculated based on your site location. Your documents and drawings are kept together in your MyJob account, so you always know where to find the latest version.
You Review and Approve
Review the quotation, engineering documentation and design. Ask questions, request changes and clarify anything before approval. Nothing is ordered until you confirm, and your design is reviewed and confirmed before manufacturing.
Components Are Manufactured and Consolidated
Once approved and deposited, components are manufactured and consolidated for delivery. Manufacture timelines vary by building type, size and current production schedules. We keep you informed through the process.
Delivery to Site
Your building kit is delivered to site. Delivery options and costs depend on your location. Ensure site access is suitable for delivery vehicles and that there is a clear receiving area for components.
Installation
The kit is installed by you, your own builder or an independent installer. Iron Country supplies the kit only. Ask us to recommend a builder from the HiTen network of 100+ independent shed builders across Australia — installers contract directly with you. All components are accurately detailed and provided with engineering documentation.
Exact services and availability vary by location and contract.
Important: Lead Routing
All submitted designs are directed to Iron Country Sheds for review. Iron Country manages its own quotation and customer relationship process. Lead routing and CFBS account configuration will be confirmed before the website goes live.
